Do I need a licence?

• No licence required - firers supervised by Range Safety Officers.
• Persons under 14 years of age are not eligible to fire.
• Persons over 14 & under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent.
• Photo ID & Proof of age essential - Tourists & Backpackers most welcome!

How Do I Get to Try It ?

• Simply book in on the number listed below & arrange a time with one of our Range Safety Officers.
• Arrive at the range about 10 minutes before you are due to fire.
• The Safety Officers will then help you select a suitable hire package. You will then watch an instructional DVD and be taken into the firing range. Then the instructor will brief you on safety, firearms operation & basic shooting techniques.

What Happens During the Shooting Session?

After the safety officer has briefed you, you then place on eye & ear protection & under the supervision of the safety officer you fire live ammo at paper targets The safety officer will ensure safety for all users is maintained, as well as helping you through the session/s, and coaching you on the basics of pistol shooting. Each session involves firing at various distances to test your skill.

To HOLD YOUR BOOKINGS ON FRIDAY EVENINGS, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, A DEPOSIT OF $40 per person is required. The deposit is NOT refundable.
